Recomendations:

  • Make a template TOC of the events (or a subset of the events), which also includes the categories needed.
  • Centralize all the notes at the top (so all the copy/paste wikitext is together).
  • Make a Template:format/* page for it (so you can go {{subst:format/*}} to insert it).
  • Link it from the big formats page.

Figured out most of these suggestions - thanks. Regarding the first bullet about making a template TOC. My inclination is to just use categories instead. So for FLL events I would just make sure to put them in the appropriate categories such as FLL Events, FLL State Tournaments, FLL Qualifying Tournaments, or FLL Local Tournaments as appropriate. Then just link to the category page and get an "index" for free.
However, I'm open to being convinced. Can you tell me why it is "better" to create TOC pages?--PeterFll 14:05, 25 May 2005 (EDT)
