FIRSTwiki talk:Yearly team page format
From FIRSTwiki
I kind of like robot on top, then accomplishments, so my idea would be summary, robot, accomplishments. Anyone like it better this way? --Sciencewhiz 10:27, 18 Jun 2004 (EDT)
- Seconded. I think most people (me, anyway) would be more interested in the robot; and, accomplishments doesn't really make much sense unless put in the context of the particular robot. And it definately needs a summary. When having a long article with a distracting TOC, I tend to think a summary/intro at the top helps to tell the reader what follows, and that otherwise people new to the wiki could get confused and not know what the page is about if it just jumps into something. (Maybe that should make its way to either the style manual or policies and guidelines?) --Mrawls 12:15, 18 Jun 2004 (EDT)

Team TOCs
Does anyone object to using Template:toc/(number) for team TOCs? If not, I'll add this text to the top:
- The page Template:toc/(team number) should be made for your team. (Replace "(team number)" with your number.)
