FLL State Tournament

FLL State Tournaments are one kind of FLL Event. It is the premier event that most FLL teams will participate in as the culmination of their FLL season. How State Tournaments are run can vary significantly from state to state. Some variations include...
- Large states (California, Texas, etc.) may have multiple State Tournaments (Souther California, Northern California, etc.)
- States with many teams may use a scheme of qualfying tournaments. Thus, a team would be required to achieve a certain award or come in the top x teams or such to move on to the state level tournament
- Some states with many teams may use a lottery system to allow only x number of teams chosen at random by lottery
Please note that at this time state FLL Partners have wide latitude in how they run their tournaments and qualifiers.
