The Finger Lakes Regional Event for the FIRST Robotics Competition is held annually (typically in early March)
The FLR is held on the campus of the Rochester Institute of Technology in the Gordon Field House & Activities Center.
Now, for 2007, in its 3rd year, the Finger Lakes Regional has grown to over 30 teams from the area and as far away as Michigan
Now in its 3rd year, the Finger Lakes Regional Planning Committee hosts many annual robotics events and provides strong partnerships with schools and students as well as many area corporations and sponsors
The Finger Lakes Regional was first held in the 2005 season, Triple Play.
