Placebo

A Placebo was used before FIRST had alliances, and the tournament was 1v1v1 double elimination. Because of the structure of the tournament, for each round there were always some spots "left over". The Placebo was used for this; It just fills in and doesn't score points.

For Hexagon Havoc, the Placebo was a hovercraft built from kit parts. For Toroid Terror, the placebo shot confetti into the audience. Other years it was a remote controlled vacuum cleaner and a box on wheels.
