NASA/VCU 2006

We Won!

• Our turret wasn't working well, so we were defending.
• During qualification, our team and our allies won 5 matches and lost 3. Not that bad for a Rookie!
• None of the highest seeded teams picked us to be on their alliance.
• We won the Regional Rookie All-Star Award.

Palmetto 2006

• Our robot fell and the camera broke, so we were a defender again!
• We went to this regional to fix up our robot.
• During qualification, our team and our allies won 4 matches and lost 5.
• None of the highest seeded teams picked us to be on their alliance.
• Since we had already won the last regional, we asked the judges to not recommend us for the Rookie All-Star Award.
• But even though we asked them not to we won the Regional Rookie All-Star Award again!

World Championship 2006

• We won the Rookie All-Star Award for the World Championship over 35 other rookie teams!

RoboCat 2006

A really good defender!

Robot Functions

• Tilting and rotating turret.
• Harvesting balls in from the bottom.
• Defense (esp. when the turret doesn't work!).

Robot Strategy

• If the turret works, then it should be a very good shooter.
• Otherwise, it is five feet of defense!
