Are articles like this really useful, that only provide a link to outside content? I understand the site is just starting ... but by giving the appearance of becoming a linking service, I think the site is making a big mistake.

first, I would appreciate it if you signed (2 dashes followed by 3 tils)

second, it's a stub. Currently, it's only supposed to get you started. There is very little time for writing these things. If you don't like it, CHANGE IT. That's why anyone can change these things.

Astronouth is right, this is the way pages get started. It makes it a lot easier, and people are more willing to edit a page when they are adding to it, not starting it. --Max

The innovationFIRST page calls it the 2004 mini RC, i think im going to move it back. Anyone have a reason not to? --Max 15:49, 28 May 2004 (EDT)

EDU is how everyone on CD refers to it? --Astronouth7303
but i think because of the robovations thing (search CD for it), all mentions of EDU are gone. In most cases, i'd say go with the common usage, but in this case, its a matter of copyright infringement. --Max 15:56, 28 May 2004 (EDT)
Of course, the CD forum is named 'Educational Robotics', and I haven't actually seen anyone refer to it as MiniRC. But for leagals, feel free to change it and its references (be sure to mention EDU bot and BetaBot on the page). --Astronouth7303
No no, its not like I'm actually worried about the legal issues for this site, but it just seems to give the official name more weight... I expect it will soon be commonly called robovation and min RD and such... I'll leave it for now and see what others think. --Max
