Thad Wilhelm

Mr. Wilhelm was the Newport Robotics Group, Team 948's Team Advisor from 2001 to 2004.

Mr. Wilhelm came to Newport High School in 2001 from Michigan. After advising a team at his old school, Mr. Wilhelm decided to create a robotics team here at Newport. Mr. Wilhelm is also a Chemistry teacher at Newport, and his school webpage is here. He is well-liked by both students and faculty and is a very dedicated teacher and adviser. Mr. Wilhelm won the Educator of the Year award in the 2002-2003 school year.

After the end of the 2004 school year, he moved away to Detroit.
